Ted’s bracelet is unveiled!

Ted Clydesdale horse hair bracelet

Ted Clydesdale is a big horse with a big personality. Rescued from the horrors of a horse auction and nursed back to health by Sally Oultram in October 1998 when he was just a young foal, Ted has lived a life of adventure and celebrity. Ted was very sick young foal when Sally brought him home and his determination and fight for life inspired Sally and her daughter Camilla (now a brilliant stunt rider and film horse trainer with an impressive list of credits to her name including Game of Thrones, Les Misérables and Far from the Madding Crowd among many others), to write a children’s book called ‘The Story of Ted’.

Ted and Sally have made guest appearances at many world-renowned events, including Horse of the Year Show and Blenheim International Horse Trials. Recently they have dedicated a lot of their time to helping to raise awareness for Rare Breeds Survival Trust, of which Sally is Equine Ambassador.

We at Gemosi are proud to have been asked to make a bracelet from Ted’s hair and are delighted to raffle this in a silent auction with 100% of the proceeds going to the fantastic RBST.

Ted’s Gemosi Harmony bracelet is now finished and ready and we think it captures his strength, elegance and beauty to perfection. Ted’s tail is quite distinctive as it is strongly two toned, containing a mixture of blonde and black hairs. We think the finished piece is uniquely Ted and we added a little sparkle, because that’s what Ted brings into the lives of everyone that knows and loves him. We hope this will be a piece to be treasured by the lucky winner of our silent auction.
